BUILDING A RELIABLE FUTURE

Development Programs

Because stress competence doesn't grow overnight .

One can learn about stress in a single day. However, the ability to manage and cope with it arises during a process of applying this knowledge individually, evaluating the outcome and refining the approach.

This is why MODUS programs consist of several modules which extend over a longer time frame. Each module lasts no more than half a day, with time in between to try out strategies and build on what has been learned.

Looking for a stress management workshop for your organization?

The MODUS development programs address this need by helping employees, leaders, and decision-makers develop healthier ways of handling pressure and strengthen their ability to perform. A series of sessions allows participants to try strategies in their daily work, reflect on their experiences, and put what they learn into practice. Each program is tailored to the group, offering considerable flexibility in both content and scheduling. Get in touch to discuss your specific needs.

3 PRINCIPLES

Knowledge matters when it is put into practice.

At MODUS, theory never stands alone.

New insights are applied to real situations at work, while practical strategies are developed and tested over time. Participants leave with a better understanding of their own sources of stress and the tools to manage them.

What works is individual.

The same demands affect people in very different ways. Participants examine their own circumstances and develop approaches that fit their needs and working realities. One-to-one sessions offer space to explore personal or sensitive challenges.

Sometimes it pays to look at the bigger picture.

When the same sources of stress affect several people, it is worth examining the wider working conditions.

Over the course of the seminars, such patterns may become visible and reveal concrete opportunities for improvement.

Participants work through this process several times during the program, with a different focus in each module. Over the course of the sessions, they gain a thorough understanding of their personal sources of stress and build a range of strategies which were already tested in real working conditions.

Program Structure

4 MODULES

The development program comprises six sessions: an introductory session, four modules that build on one another, and a closing session. Each module explores stress and demands from a different perspective. Participants develop strategies they can test at work between sessions. Each module starts with a reflection of what has been tried out and a discussion about any needed adjustments.

The package can also include additional one-to-one sessions. These give individual participants a confidential space to address specific challenges and apply the program content to their own working situation.
